no you can setup exchange through google on the windows side and transfer your contacts to google then when you assign your gmail info your contacts will be sucked down to your Android setup.

Ok. So I'm now using the rootfs from 04/23 and everything is back to normal, 3G kicks in and my TP2 no longer freezes or reboots.

Still, I have no data connection so I ask again, can someone please tell me what files I have to modify to include my service provider's configuration? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

It's not working on CDMA and partial on GSM so that does not concern our phones.

http://www.androidonhtc.com/wiki/Port_Status doesn´t say sound works, it says "audio" works, so I'm guessing they are referring to calls.

texascbx is right, rear speaker has partial support un GSM phones (Only works for media applications, not speakerphone). We're out of luck for now.

Perhaps the people that are trying to customize Android should start a new thread. This thread is for the development.

I don't think we are trying customize...In my case I have been using your posting since after civic handed over to Mr. Pippy and then you started the terrific job of making it easier for the rest of us.

My question was because I noticed that cflynt added some new links with perhaps conflicting information...my call sound does work but if you follow the sense 2.1 thread it looks like the rear speaker is now working.

Thanks for taking the time t read this.
