I believe every time you boot windows it changes date time stamps on files and it is incorrect according to Android data file system.

I don't think it is any recovered lost files but corrections to the indexes and inode info. I want to say yes to ok to delete... BUT... you could lose data, more likely out of your data.img file than windows but still likely.

I have been deleting these off for a while and have not had any issues with data loss or android that are not already known issues. However YMMV. When i get up to 20 i just remove them since a new one is created after every boot. Its not that i don't have a few more gigs of free space, i am just a neat freak and don't like additional files cluttering the root of my card.

There is no way to just go back into windows without restarting. You have to hold the end key down and power off every time you want to go back.

My predictive keyboard is extremely annoying.. For example, simple two letter words always default to someones name who is in my contact list.. has anyone else experience this annoyance?

Maybe I just don't know enough about androids keyboard?

That annoyed me for about a week until I figured out how to turn it off. It's not as intuitive as our TP2's, but its easy. Go to settings/language and keyboard/Android keyboard settings and uncheck all the boxxes except the capitalize first letter and you'll be set.

Total ignoramus here - on the Droid, the GPS appears to be correct, however, I bought the Locale app (great reviews) and while I'm in mid-Michigan, it put me in Tulsa Oklahoma. I refunded and repurchased and it kept the first positioning. I cannot refund again. Is there anyway to contact the developers or am I up the proverbial creek? I'd prefer to have a working app. TY much.

You are probably up a creek BUT you should know, the GPS does not work at all. Any location data is generated solely on cellular towers. This is, as you have found, no replacement for real GPS and not exact and most GPS programs aren't really designed to work in this mode.

You should read (line by line) posts #1 and #2 located here >>>>>>>>>>> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=115443 before adventuring any further. ;-)

To get your network running (out of airplane mode and working data)
1. Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > *Choose* Select Automatically.
2. You should see "Registered on Network" pop up fairly quickly if it worked.

Is anyone having any success getting the HTC IME keyboard working? I'm running Mackie's 4.03.2010 build and have tried installing it twice. Each time I do (I have it selected as the default input method) no keyboard ever comes up on an input screen. If I switch back to the default android keyboard, it comes up right away. I really dislike the default keyboard too!

I have looked around on the web, but only find "how to install it", which, obviously I've done.

Or, I guess does anyone have any suggestions (or packages) for other keyboards? I really want to get away from this default keyboard.
