Not very good at the moment, power management is not working correctly currently. I got 5 hours before my battery died on a fully charge.

Re: how is the android bat life

It seems to me the battery may just be incorrectly configured.
I will preface this by saying that I have no idea how battery percentage is read in Android but given the behavior I have seen here are my thoughts.

The battery reports being 100% till the very end of battery life. At the very end it quickly drains. So it seems like the calculation for battery life is something like this x=current amps remaining
y = total amps battery can hold
thus percentage is x/y
my theory is that y is inappropriately reading or set low
so for example when x=500 it is still displaying 100 since y is set to 200

Is there a way to manually set the total amps the battery can hold? If so it seems the battery reporting issue would be solved relatively quickly (and hopefully the charging issue with it)

(Apologize if I butchered the physics on this, it has been a very long time since I did anything with electricity)

Pass this along to Pippy. He may be able to throw it in.

that would be cool if we got that to work

If you ever had an Android phone then you already know that the batter life on a regular Android device is not that great. So you can imagine how it is on a phone that originally did not come with the OS. IMO the battery life sucks!!

Re: how is the android bat life

So I left my phone in Android and had it plugged in for about 3-4 hours when it was at 70% in winmo, I uplugged it since the lock screen said charged and in about an hour the phone died. Couldn't even turn it on for about 5-10 minutes... winmo said the battery was at 0%
