Civic did you get wifi working for you also and what about the marketplace or whatever its called for Android?

Yeah, I'm on Sprint/CDMA. I was running the build as normal, it was already set up, and then I just replaced rootfs/zImage and WiFi turned on no problem

got mine working. I had apparently jumped the gun on the rootfs. Went and grabbed latest Zimage and rootfs and got it up.

One thing I noticed - it doesn't seen to like wireless security. I could not connect with WEP secutiry, had to open up my wifi to connect. Once it was open it was a snap.

A received the same error on the app store - I think it may require a CDMA data connection for that. Apps are billed to your account if you buy, right? Just a thought - I have no idea.

Browser/Gmail etc works great though!

Yes, sorry. I considered that part of the zImage as it comes in the package

One small step for Android, one giant leap for the touch pro 2.

Downloading civic's build now. Does anyone know if wifi has to be on in winmo for this to work?
