Re: [TESTING] - NAND OMGB (Latest version 1.2.3) - 400/500 Only

I am back in the game.

HSPL - check
VZW 2.37 radio - check

grabbed items from OP

LK - check
recovery.img - check
1.2.3 OMGB - check
GAPPS - check

flashed from sd card without issue
fastboot install recovery image without issue
boot into recovery on phone and install 1.2.3 OMGB without issue
boot into 1.2.3 OMGB on phone several times, without issue
ISSUE
could not get the phone into recovery from android (reboot - recovery) when I choose these options, the phone freezes in android and I must pull battery
only way into recovery is via power button from cold start
ISSUE
could not get GAPPS to install
downloaded google apps from cyanogenmod and installed without issue
ISSUE
seems the phone will not recover from sleep

Thanks again for the Android option !!

Happy Thanksgiving

Best regards,
-boggsie

no recover from sleep? did you install any apps after gapps? I notice people have more issues with specific apps. Also what do the LEDs tell you? green/orage?

I think its time for some logs from you my good man. I'll fix our GAPPS soon. Just ive been busy with gsm (which finally boots by the way).

I'm just gonna stop posting ...

Repeated the process ... it's all good. The worst part about my premature reporting of issues is that when I setup my Google account, I clicked the option to sync everything, so the sleep issue was actually my phone getting hammered trying to install ~40 apps (same account on another device).

Happy Thanksgiving

That's unfortunate. I see you've task29'd, have you tried flashing back to stock? I wouldn't undo HSPL, just flash a stock ROM. The reason I say stock is the aftermarket ROM's usually just come with one piece, and the stock ROM's flash everything.

Yup, tried that. Now it won't flash anything, via sd or usb.... I do believe I have a paperweight.
The bootloader says no tp mfg data?

damn.. no mfg data ? may need to go to the winmo forums and see if those bootloader gurus can help out. I'd mtty and see if there is anything that can be done.

Besides this casualty, i think we did pretty well.
