I can't flash the new recovery. Fastboot gives me this message: FAILED (data transfer failure (too many links))

Tried again and it says: FAILED (status read failed (too many links))

Suggestions?

I managed to flash the recovery image using Droid Explorer. (at least according to Droid Explorer :geek:)

How do I know if I'm using the new recovery?

Thank you very much for all your hard work.

One question, does this release include the new 3.x kernel?

Nope. It is .27

I haven't had a chance to test it fuly.. The following was the only thing that changed since the last release

1) New batt driver
2) Updated Audio code by detule.
3) random 3d fixes. Googlemaps and 3dgallery portrait issue
4) New cwm which has the updated batt driver as well.
5) Notification lights were fixed. Now when batt is charged it will show the green LED.

:geek:
I'll be out the next few weekends, but ill try to see if any quick bugs are reported. Thanks for all those guys who sent some donations. This is really for yall who keep me going.lol. :coffee:

Wish you would have also done a update zip along with a full install.

I got it up and running now and will let you know if any bugs:thumbleft:

Does the
3) random 3d fixes. Googlemaps and 3dgallery portrait issue
fix the issue where the current googlemaps gets all messed up when you rotate the screen?
Thanks for your work :)

Gallery is fixed. Google maps is not (although you can downgrade to 5.8 and it works fine)

However I applied my old pdroid patches over the new omgb before checking this and if there are any changes to framework.jar, services.jar or core.jar then it wont be reflected. I ll make fresh patches when I get home later and report back if it is different

Green LED on fully charged also doesnt seem to work (LED is off when fully charged)

Hi ACL, one big issue on my Rhod100 with sound.
I installed everything from scratch, the first boot was fine, but when I made the call (no matter if incoming or outgoing), all sounds, ringtones and notifications go through an internal speakerphone, so everything is awful quiet. When this happens and reboot the phone, everything is OK untill the first call. Then again and again. Perhaps it's easy to understand :-) Log attached.
Thanks for your hard work and help with this problem ...

Re: [TESTING] - NAND OMGB (1.2.3)

I made a updated zip for the gps using the one posted on the first page and pulling the gps file from the GBX0* test which I think uses files from http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/android-tp...a-support.html, and it seems to work well.

Also I found that if you move the phone.apk from that build, and inject it into this one you get the ability to force roaming.

Would I be stepping on any toes if I posted those here for others? I know it is across roms so I was not sure of the politics of that.

Hi guys, sorry to ask this question in a development thread but I been messing with this build for the last week or so and have it installed on my unactivated phone. My question is if I wanted to reactivate the phone on sprint service, is it as simple going online and reactivating the device? Will phone and data work? Or do I have have to go back to WM and reactivate through there and then reinstall OMGB to get service back on the phone?

Thanks.

Yea, this isn't really development related.

Why don't you just try it? Activate the phone, and see if it works. If you have issues, it is likely that you'll have to reflash WinMo, provision, and flash back to LK/OMGB.
