Also this is a heavily debugged version. The logs are full of print outs so I apologize in advance for that.

Haven't had a chance to download the modules, but I just flashed it anyways. It took a little while to boot the first time, but yeah, I'm in and everything looks great so far.

I'll get the first post updated tomorrow. Gonna head to bed and just download the modules later. I'll get it all tossed up on Dropbox so we don't have a timer :)

Also, the rootfs.img that I generated totally takes care of the keyboard mapping :)

good work on the rootfs. Now we need to find out why your build is failing. I'm uploading more stuff soon so we can try tomorrow again. :-)

Installed the new 10/3.

I removed the zImage as you mentioned it uses whatever is in the nbh file.

I did NOT use the rootfs file as I have a RHOD500.

Booted and froze on animation. Double checked I deleted the old modules. Verified were new ones. Still freezes.

I dunno. I'll try with the rootfs.img.

Update:
I must been confused on the .kb file.
Tried with new rootfs.
Still froze. I'll leave it set for a while see if it recovers. If not I might wipe my data.img and try again

Video corruption on bootup animation, goes to blank screen. No response.

So, the builds ever since hw3d has been enabled haven't been working when I compile them. the rootfs and data files have nothing to do with that.

The NBH and modules that ACL uploaded work perfect, but since he is on rhod400, your keyboard will map to that unless you use the modified rootfs.img and put a file named rhod500.kb in your andboot folder. Realistically, I can change where and what it looks for to determine what keyboard you want, but I wanted an easy way to test keyboards by just adding the .kb to the end of the files.

I am still doing a little research to see if there is something that I can use to differentiate between models so it can be automated, but that will be a project as I have time.

I have no problem doing that for kb if needed.

I switched back to 9/25 build so I can have a functional phone.

I'm sure you'll get it. No pressure. Biggest complaint for me is sleep mode isn't turning off screen. But I've been able to keep a full day with my extended battery.

I have updated the first post with ACL's files. This enables 3D and has the improved battery readings. I know the devs were interested to hear how the new battery algorithm does on extended batteries too, so maybe you can test that out and let them know on IRC ;)

Booted just fine. Thanks to both of you!

3d had always worked but glad it is working for everyone and even new code for battery!

Update:
USB drivers attempting to load
USB charging status works - actual charging I dunno yet I would figure as it worked before with ACL/Camro Kernel

Looking good.

Thanks for the hard work on this guys!

Is lcd.density still set to 210 or can it be changed?

Re: NAND Boot Testing - Keyboard Mapping Fixed, HW3D, and Battery Algo Update

It appears to be at 210. Probably needs to be rebuilt in nbh file.

Might be able to set it via your Froyo.conf file but I'd go with what Nate or ACL has to say.
