The HTC Flyer looks awesome... But $1000.00???

Have you guys seen this thing?
It looks like an amazing tool for business people or students.

It syncs with Evernote so you can access your notes from your desktop or smart phone. Or you can pull up evernotes you created on your pc to access anywhere.

This is a video of it from engadget.com... HTC Flyer parades its many unique qualities in latest video from the company -- Engadget#

But 1000 bucks might just put it around 800 bucks our of my budget.

I like it alot.

Its a single core tablet running gingerbread instead of honeycomb in a dual core/honeycomb world...waste of money....

onlive is cool though but i wonder if it can be ported..

I wonder how many nutrinos are needed to hypermodulate the internal cooling reactor carbon nannotubes? Hmmm...

Where did you get your information from? I picked up the HTC Flyer for only $499.99 from Best Buy. FYI I returned the Acer Iconia for it and I actually prefer the 7 inch screen.

I got that information from the past (I posted this on 4/1) and from the link I included in my first post.
499.99 is better than 1000 but still overpriced for a 7" tablet in my opinion. That's why tablet's aren't flying out the window.

500 bucks gets me an almost full fledged laptop.

A tablet should be in the 250 range the way I see it.

Again... The way I se it.

I've seen more than enough YouTube videos on this thing to tell you I full on believe you.
I still can't see spending that much money on it.
I would consider paying this kind of money on the same thing with a 10.1 inch screen.

htc flyer - Google Search

But not 7 (plus the stilus?!?!?!?)

I agree...There are gonna be quad core tablets on par with core 2 duos this summer going for 500$..a single core tablet is just outdated and should be priced with its competition like the old galaxy tab and etc...for like 200-300$
