Rotary lockscreen

I have searched for almost 5 days now. I have done nothing but read and read and flash and flash and read some more. After many any boot loops and reflashing I have decided to post a thread. I think I have found what to edit in the framework-res.apk and I know for a fact I have to change stuff in the android.policy.jar. But I just have no clue what. Any way someone could actually post the correct instructions or if they know of a thread to point me to it. I don't want 3rd party app so please don't suggest that. I want to do it on my own. Thanks

Considering I am building my own custom rom and I haven't found a rom for my device that has it in it. When building my own rom I don't take other peoples work. I do it all my own

Have you looked at the development of this on the galaxy S? We have this mod on the Epic 4g and I believe the Facinate, in fact I have it incorporated into the Dark Horse theme posted in the Epic dev section. You could pull the jar files to see what maddoggin over at xda did to port it to the Epic.
