Port sprint or verizon phone to US Cellular
 

How difficult would it be to port either the evo or incredible to US Cellular?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Could be real difficult depending on your knowledge and willingness. Considering you would have to esn change the device, which is illegal in most countries, us included. So you won't find much help around here on that topic due to its illegality.

Don't think USCC Checks ESNs too much... I used to flash Moto Razrs from vzw to uscc and activate them all the time. Let's all assume we know a person who activates our ESN for us. What then how do we provision the phone for data and what other changes need to be made? Even a where to look rough guide to put us on the path I nolonger care as USCC has android phones and I'm happy jumping around carriers. I used to want to know this and am curious about the answer. Besides I'm pretty sure an ESN change would just be done in CDMA workshop and it's not like it matter's if anyone here endorses it. Just like with robbery you don't need someone to explain it before people are able to.

Alright guys I know this thread is old but I need help with provisioning a Sprint Evo to USCC. Got them to add the phone to the network without changing the esn but can't get data or mms. Done a lot of searching but coming up empty. We need more peeps working on this. Thanks.
