WatchESPN live streaming app released for Android
 
ESPN just released their free live streaming app for Android. Gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, and ESPNU. The kicker is that you need to be a Time Warner Cable, Brighthouse Networks, or Verizon FIOS TV subscriber. Verizon high speed internet subscribers get access to ESPN3 only.

wish that it worked with uverse but the reviews for those that have tried it in the market arent all that great. have you had a chance to mess with it at all?

No sound on my EVO, and a lot of other people who have submitted Market reviews are saying the same thing. It's actually a very well put together app, with a slick, professional UI (expect that with ESPN), but not having any sound is a huge buzz kill.

I gave it 2 stars out of the gate, because no sound is a HUGE issue, but as soon as the sound issue is fixed, that'll shoot right up to 5 stars.

No sound on my EVO. I was really excited about this app so I hope they fix it soon.

Currently not supported for COX Cable Internet customers, maybe they'll get it soon. Fortunately they finally fixed the ESPN3 access and I can watch that using the stock browser!

strange, sound works on my EVO. Sometimes takes a while for audio to sync up though. Pretty happy with it as a first release, but hope they build on it. Do you think it depends on ROM or TV provider?

Where exactly do you set up the login for this? I can already watch online at espnnetworks.com and when I try to use the login in for there it doesn't work. Anyone?
