Netflix app leaked!

Woot - the Netflix app leaked. I have it on my EVO.

It does not stream video yet, but it's a good queue manager.

Go get em Devs!

It acts like it will almost play a video. So far its a good start. Can't wait till it can play video.

Yup, crappy DRM

Re: Netflix app leaked!

even when their servers are streaming video, there is a big problem with DRM. The QSD does not support the DRM needed for this so in order to get it work on an Evo or any device not a MT4G or other high end MSM chips there will be a lot of haxing to do with ripping and moving the DRM files into system and fooling the app into thinking it is running on a supported chipset.

Re: Netflix app leaked!

The DRM requirement is so friggen silly. I can get the disk (DVD or BR) from Netflix and copy it easily.. DUH! I can understand some type of DRM, but the level they are demanding makes zero sense.

Anyone using CM7 running this netflix app successfully? It installs successfully for me, but just after I open it, it goes to a white screen, and nothing displays. I can exit the app, so it isn't locking up the phone.

Silverlight. It's like microsofts version of flash player. Since wp7 is a microsoft device they get it.

Re: Netflix app leaked!

anybody get this working yet? i was getting the message.. “sorry could not reach netflix service. please try again later. if the problem persists please visit netflix.com, (1005)” then flash updated to 10.2 and now it just sits at loading and i get the spinning circle. I like the fact i can watch a movie online, then stop and hit the road and resume the movie on my device, but it don't ever load.
