Is this a possibility? (changing text)

Hi all... new Evo user.
I'll cut to the chase.
My eyes are horrible. The Evo is so much better than my old TouchPro.

Is there any way to change text messages from dark font on light background to white/light font on dark background? Or even better, somehow make the text font size larger?

Appreciate the help.

im only so familiar with Android still... obviously in winMO, registry changes can do this...

of the bat you can try Handsent SMS(or others) it has many skins... im sure you can find something easy on the eyes....

**if you do use a 3rd party SMS app, amke sure to go into the normal messaging client and turn off notifications and such.. if you dont, youll get dbl notifications on incoming texts**

Thank you! I've read quite a few folks who use and really enjoy Handcent. I'm going to give it a try. And HUGE thanks for the tip about turning notifications off in the default client.

I've been using handcent since launch of evo. I don't even know how to use stock msg app. But also to free up your memory go into stock app and settings and change max sms/mms to 10 (lowest possible) or it will add up. I forgot and just looked at stock msg app other day on my replacement phone and some threads had over 500 msgs.
