Worried parent needs help???? Please
 

Wondering if anyone can help me out; I need a program, or app which I can check incoming, outgoing SMS, Phone calls, and picture mail including GPS capabilities. I will be monitoring my 13 year old daughter.

Before I get a whole bunch of members flaming about giving her space, letting her be, what about her privacy, let me give you some background.

I discovered my 13 year old daughter was going to run away with a guy she met on the internet and she had fallen in love. They were going to go to Mexico and live happily ever after. Turns out the guy was a registered sex offender and was on parolee. He wasn't 16 like he told her, he was 34. He had completed nine years on a 15 year sentence, for kidnapping and raping an 11 year old boy. Yes he is back in prison and there are court orders for him to stay away, no contact. He got violated and I don't know how much time he will end up. We still have hearing to go to.

As for giving her space and privacy, I don't believe in it. A parent’s main job is to protect and guide their children, not to be their best friend.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but I have been all over the internet looking for help and all I hear from the Libs are how appalled they are at my invasion of her rights. I could care a less about her rights right now. So please if this offends you, just move on to the next thread.

If you know of anything which can help me please give me the information. She has a HTC Hero and I am using the Evo 4G.

Best thing that I could find was Spy Bubble. My brother uses it for his 16 year old daughter. It tracks everything but picture mail. Also My Lookout is another way, not as in depth as spybubble but it still can do some tracking.

I would really like to hear from a parent whom has used these. Spy Buble is a rip off and i had to get refunded through pay pal. i haven't found a monitoring system which does what it advertises.

scary... my response would be to take the phone away and tell her that she has proven she can't be responsible enough to have it. I know this may not be the answer you want, but it's all I have.

i like the cute long drawn out story, but be real, u checkin in on wifey/hubby...whats u checkin in on her phone activity gonna do? lol. if you indeed payin her bill, u already have access to her picturemail, call logs, texts ull have physically have her phone 2 view.

Let her know that she is being watched. Let her know her parents care. That is the bottom line of parenting - caring and guiding.

My sister has a 12 year old daughter and she has ask ner mother about a phone. They are not mature enough to have these phones, many adults can not handle it either but for other reasons $1000 a month
