No need to use the installer, you can uninstall that. Just use a file explorer (Astro or Estrongs are probably the best options), navigate to where the swype apk is, click on it and install. Done. Works perfectly on the Evo as I've been using it all day.

you dont need the installer, the installer checks version and updates if your not offical beta tester DONT USE

just use astro file manager to install the apk

Had my first Swype no work problem today. I realized it was having one of the moments when it refused to delete a non-existent work I insisted existed. It then stopped accepting finger input. Went and did the input change thing and it started Swype'ing again.

I give up. I've tried to install this on 3 different ROMs and I get the same thing every time. As soon as I enable it it FC's. I found a version with a blue themed keyboard that's working fine, but its English only. I really wanted to get the multi language capability. Oh well, maybe the next release.....:violent2:

is it me or swype doesnt work? seems like with Plutonium Rom I get an unexpected error.
