Android 2.1 Change Default Contact Source
 

Is there a way to change the default contact source? (Gmail contacts vs Exchange contacts)

My new Samsung Epic 4g phone is sync'd with my Exchange server - all contacts, calender and email items are there. When I try to sync with my car - only the Gmail contacts are sync'd.

I had Sprint and Samsung Tier 1 and Tier 2 on the phone only to have Samsung Tier 2 kick me off as I can't prove that Lexus certified their HS250 as working with the Samsung Epic 4g.

It's an Android thing, but thought I had to go through Samsung - that was a waste. They understood the default contact "myinfo" that had my phones # transferred, but they would not go further into troubleshooting as it was not tested.

I don't wish to use a third party software app to duplicate my contacts, I don't want to manually sync often - the contacts are there, they just are being ignored by Android when doing car phonebook sync.
