Tethering App

Ok i just Rooted my Evo 2.2 and it seem to be working with no problem. Now i was looking for tethering app and non of them seem to work. I was wondering which one the Rooted users are using. I don't want to use it for every day has i have an overdrive but would like the option for when my overdrive is not around and i have my laptop or iPad. I would not like sprint to know im doing so (i Cant wait for my contract on the overdrive to end so i can just do the legit way on the evo and Save some money in the process). Thank you

I rooted for two reasons 1. to be able to Underclock my CPU 2. to be do tethering with out paying extra. Is there any other reason to root beside this two?

what rom you using?
does it turn on?
or pc isnt getting a signal

Im on rooted froyo stock and im using the latest wifi tether hack and works badass i love it and i stop paying the 30 bucks since 2 days ago the version i got is 2.5.8 something like that so far only 5 devices i can connect at the same time

i Rooted yesterday and i'm using the sprint stock. I tried the pre8 and it seem to work with no problem now. thank you guys for your help. I'm going to donate, so they can keep working hard and improving it. Does that work with a Hero.

I couldn't get Pre8 to work, so I did Pre7. Maybe I'll try 8 again, as it was late at night...

Can anyone suggest a USB tether app? Rooted, have to use USB, no wireless on work PC.
