I use it with no problems. A lot of my friends (that I am ashamed to call my friends) have the Iphone4 and with Fring, we can all use it, unlike Qik.

The app itself is useful and works.

Fring doesn't do skype aim or yahoo video calls, now what?
 

So I know skype and the other video chat clients are protecting their servers and what not by locking 3rd party programs out... That's cool, NOT. But what are the alternatives? I want what I think all of us want, the ability to use our super awesome HTC evo's to their fullest!

So:

Does anyone have a solution that allows us to video chat with people from skype, AIM, YIM, MSN and whatever else is popular these days?

yeah i've had my EVO for 2wks now..and bout time i got it FRING took Skype away..so video calling has been hard 2 do..unless you got and Iphone or EVO..and i only know 1 with an Iphone...and lets be real...trying to find an EVO is like trying 2 find Waldo...lol

Gotta love how the Iphone users took the Skype privlages away from us...bastards. Fring still should do Fring to Fring video calls...just nothing else. Qik works..phone to phone...other than that look in the market...theres bound to be something in there.

Check out Nimbuzz. It's free in the market. It is supposed to allow skype calls.

Their is nothing in the market place that will help. I cant figure out why Skype would take privileges away from Fring for Android when the iPhone has Facetime as its main app. Doesnt make any sense with how many Evo's that have been sold and now with the Droid X out, it really makes no sense.

omg, so no one has any solutions! that's cool, I'm just gonna pray that Google develops a facetime rival, with the corny commercials and everything. hopefully fully integrated into the phone app!
