swype on froyo?
 

I cant find my swype 2.2, restored with titanium but app doesnt show up. Anybody else experience this?

Don't know about Titainum but you can use swype with 2.2 There is an issue of having to re activate after a restart in settings. Swype from what I hear has not been updated for 2.2 yet.

All you have to do with the Swype is uninstall the installer and the app, then reinstall it from the email with the beta information from Swype. Mine works just as good as it did before.

The developers have asked PPCGeeks staff to not allow their software to be posted on our site. Sorry, but you will need to signup for the BETA or purchase it.

I can't even find Swype in the Market on my Evo...I am running Android 2.1 with a fully rooted stock 1.47.651.1. Every time I search for it only one app pops up...its called "myTextSpeed"...so why won't it show up for me, and how can I get it if I cant get it through the Market? Please Help!

You have to go to the Swype website and sign up for the beta. It is closed now though, although you can register for when it opens back up.

which is the problem in a nutshell. they've set it up so that you can only get it by beta. yet the beta is closed. thus, the population looking for another way to get it. if the developer doesn't want the existing files that are floating around shared, they need to stop being rediculous and either open the beta up to anyone who wants it or like palringo, have a website open where anyone can grab the betas and try them as they gets updated.

Have they added the microphone button? I noticed it looks like the Droid X comes with Swype and from the youtube vid's I have seen it has a Mic. button.
