I can confirm this. Swype has issues with 2.2 I hope they fix this fast.

Just so you guys know (I didn't) the stock 2.2 keyboard is multi touch. It's layout isn't as good in my opinion but it works as well over all. This was one thing stopping me from 2.2 and then I saw the stock had multi. It also has four arrows on the main screen (part of the reason it's more cramped then the droid multi) which comes in very handy.

What is the appeal of the droid x keyboard. I don't think multi touch is that big of a deal. I feel like the sick one is the same if not better. I user ShapeWriter tho. Better than swype to me.

What's the appeal with shapewriter? J/K No really the thing is everyone has their own taste and you'll see everyone has their own favorite keyboards. Some even love the original 2.1 keyboard and never had an issue with it. I can't image how they used it or that they used it much but I heard people saying they wouldn't even try swype or shapewriter because the 2.1 stock was perfect. Can you imagine!
