Hellz yeah,the new facebook app is slowly but surely inching its way to the iPhones facebook app..Its been so long since they have updated it,hopefully this is a sign of things to come and quicker updates.

no it's a new update and its a kick ass app. only thing it need is a instant chat with your friends online.

well nothing will beat m.facebook.com..But come on man,you know the new app is a step in the right direction..Video Previews and Friends photo previews at the bottom before even going into the News Feed...

Restart your phone,go into root explorer,go to system/apps/ and delete the facebook.apk....Then restart your phone and go into the market and search facebook,download and install..Asumeing you are rooted of course

correction. touch.facebook.com rules. However, I just tried the app b/c of this thread and I like it alot. I never used the app b/c I didn't like the previous versions. But this version changed the way I feel. lol

One thing to note is that this new version stays running in the background and the phone doesn't sleep, which obviously is a battery drainer.

It is a major improvement over the last version though.

It includes a "Running Service" which need to be stopped to shut the program up.

And yes, I think its better then the original.

This is a great new app ... Found that when it's up, menu -> settings will allow you to adjust/turn off the update frequency ... :-)

i'm agreeing this is NICE! its about time!!!

I would use it more if the notifications didn't open in the damn browser. Why even have an app If I need the browser for the only function I use?

Would be nice if they had game support. then you can play at least a few facebook games on your phone instead of the ports that most are starting to do now.
