This is an extremely clever app and would be perfect for the EVO
 

I'm talking about the newest Chase banking app for the iphone. As much as I hate apple and their icrap, I have to admit this is one thing I would love to have. It gives you the ability to deposit checks into your checking account on the fly. For a person in a big city like Chicago, that uses public transportation a lot during the week this would make things very convenient. Sure everyone gets direct deposit from their job, but if you hustle a little on the side you'd be able to deposit a check moments after receiving it. I'm sure the camera on our EVO would work very well with something like this. Here's the link, check it out.

Seems most banks are slow to adapt. Would like to see my bank do this beind self employed would save trips during the week.

If i read that article correctly.. he states this is available on the Android O.S.
read here....

"It has exceeded expectations," USAA spokesman Paul Berry said of the mobile deposit phone app for iPhone and Android. More than 1.5 million checks with $940.8 million in deposits have been submitted, he said. USAA has only one branch with tellers, in San Antonio."

I guess we should start looking.

I looked yesterday but couldn't find anything... I will continue my search!!

usaa bank has an app to deposit using the camera too.

Actuallly, there is no official Chase app, however there is one that is just as good IMO. It supports billpay and account transfers as well.

Called Android Banking. Available in the market or in other places. It supports 3 banks actually, Chase, BB&T and PNC. (not sure what the other two are).
