HANDCENT Users Question.
 

Why Is It that when anyone sends me a picture In the text, I have to press "Download" to see It. Why won't It just show automatically?

Did you try auto retrieve messages in settings

I dont' think it has to do with the auto retrieve setting....I noticed it did this in the stock messaging app as well.....I think its just an android thing....Just a thought, not a hundred percent sure bro....but after download, you can long click and from the popup menu just select view flat slideshow and it will put all on one page

Ok, I take that back bro.....in handcent, go to settings--> recieve message settings--> and under the mms retrieval settings just put a check on auto-retrieve and that should fix it bro

So theres no "auto download" anywhere In the Handcent menus?

Yes, if you go into the settings and then recieve message settings you can choose to auto download for the mms messages

Do you have your Internet Connection turned on? I noticed that it does the same thing on mine if I turn my Internet Connection off even with auto retrieve selected. It's a gift and a curse. You turn the Internet Connection off to save battery but on the flip side you have to turn it on every time to download any picture mail you receive. That's the one thing Windows Mobile was great for. It would automatically turn the connection on when needed to download pic mail and then turn it off once it was done downloading. If there is an app to control this that will be awesome because I need that.
