Ok the "Video" game is on!
It's awesome to see what's going on now with Fring and Skype.
Makes me excited to see and think there will perhaps now be more development towards video chat/calls. This competition should be good for us, the end users. To think EVO started it and the iphone 4 made it more public. We are in the fore-front of this new era, a new arena for possibilities to come. As I have mentioned in the numerous fring threads currently being posted. With the advent of Trillian for Android. Perhaps MSN Live, AOL/AIM, Yahoo and others will pick up the ball and see both sides of the coin and want to pocket it.. Huge money in this and someone's gonna get a big piece of the pie. Who will be that next Google, Myspace, Facebook CEO, instant millionaire? What will be the new verb? Hey, yo, "Fring" at me! -CC EDIT: Just realized I posted this in app & games sub forum, perhaps appropriate, since it is app related, but more it a general android or perhaps a wider topic. |
Re: Ok the "Video" game is on!
I'm not sure if this makes any sense but this survey I took today for Skype..showed an image that got me interested....
Look at it here: http://v2.decipherinc.com/survey/sky...peOnMobile.png It may be stupid of me to think but perhaps something is coming from them soon? The third cell phone seems to have a cam feature shown on it? I never seen that type of Skype application myself so feel free to bash me but its new to me haha. what cell phone is it anyways? plus they do mention they are brining all this great features that you could only before get on a desktop on our cell phones (: What are your thoughts on this? |

I feel someone here soon will have another app out there for us to use video to video chat...it's just a matter of bandwidth and who and when someone makes it. |
