Looks like skype killed access to its services via fring. They are no longer in partnership

Thats what people thought, there is a article on gizmodo explaining what happend. Basically fring removed skype cuz of bandwidth issues, then skype basically said fring was violating its API policy so its removed.

thank god, i was wondering what the hell was going on when i was setting up fring. i was like why is the skype crap not working!

you think skype will make a seperate app?

they must be killing off the other apps like nimbuzz and fring to get set to release there own android app here shortly, at least heres hoping.

Wow. When I was first reading your post I was thinking you were dead wrong but you proved me wrong. Maybe we can see an official Skype app soon, soon being a relative term of course.

Everybody needs to send them an email asking for an Android app...that's what i'm doing...
