MicDroid - AutoTune App for Android

finally an autotune app for android!

search the market for "micdroid"

really easy to use and it records them into a .wav format.

its is still in development and I found it over on xda developers (link), keep checking for updates through that link

here's an example I created off my fiance's voicemail greeting. If you sing it will sound a lot better...

OMG, this is absolutely brilliant. I half spoke and half sang a voicemail greeting, and when I playing it back, I almost fell over laughing. It was just like the Bud Light commercial with T-Pain, which is hilarious.

haha, I think that would be the only way, at least that I know of
maybe they will implement something soon that will allow you to "live" play/record your voice while on a phone call (so the other person/voicemail will hear the "autotuned" voice).

MicDroid - AutoTune App for Android

Found info on the Pocketnow website.

The developer thread is located here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=721388

Video of app in use located here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN7K_...layer_embedded

The “I am T-Pain” app for the iPhone, whether you’re a fan or not, has been a huge hit. The app has the ability to auto-tune and record your voice according to specific user settings. This allows users to dramatically modify the sound of their voice when singing or speaking. Unfortunately, the I am T-Pain app hasn’t made its way over to Android just yet. However, one Android developer decided to make his own auto-tune app and it’s called MicDroid.

The early version of MicDroid doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the I am T-Pain app, but it’s already showing a lot of promise. Currently, you can only record audio clips that get filtered through the app’s auto-tuner. Hopefully we’ll have the ability to distort the audio in real-time in the future. Watch the video below to see it in action and grab it for free from the Android Market (purchase the donation version for support).

(I have tested it on the evo and it works as advertised.)

who cares? until ppcg's apps forum gets beefed up, i don't mind seeing posts in both forums. I know i visit the evo forum 100 times more than the apps forum, how about you? Have you ever posted anything on the android apps forum? i bet no...
It's probably better that people post in their device's forum first, so people see the "moved to apps forum" marker left by the mods... Otherwise people won't realize there's stuff going on over there.
