Haven't seen one that plays all codecs but the best one I have found so far is RockPlayer. It does DivX, AVI, XviD, MKV, and other file types.

I have been looking for a Video player (something like Coreplayer) is there such a thing. I found some player but for every player i have to convert into the format it supports. Is there a player that would play all format like they have for the PC or something atleast that would play most Video Format. I tried cinema and that player really suck. is this the best one out there. Man if that is the case then there is a market for the first company that makes a really good player. i would pay money for it. I used Coreplayer and it was the best player for WM. I'm going to write to them and tell them to port it over to android.

If you have a better player please say something

Search for RockPlayer_Beta.apk I use it for .avi and other formats. Works really well for me. Pretty sure it requires root though...

The problem is, this version expires on 7/15. I haven't read anything from the developers about a beta 2 or a pro (paid) version coming. I hope they do.

Last I read coreplayer is in the works and they were having trouble.rock player is good.don't think you need root I've been using it and just rooted yesterday.

No root required but like the previous poster said, the beta ends this thursday. It works great though, this is one app I will definitely pay for when it gets released.

I cant find it any more the link in Xda is broken. can anyone send me the file. i would love to try it even if it for 2 more days. I have a great screen but cant really watch video kind of sucks right
