to see the battery percentage on the homescreen? Thanx

There are apps in the Market that goes this. Some are widgets and some show up in the taskbar. I've used Battery Indicator before and it seems to work pretty well.

I use batteryminder and it works very well. New version has temp gauge as well.

curvefish batterylife is the best out there.
