Swype beta?
 

Hello all, I have a 4g Evo and rooted it and installed the OMJ ROM, So far I have no complaints about this new ROM however I downloaded and installed swype beta but cannot get it to work ...it installs just fine but when i go to send a text there's no difference I checked that swype is activate under menu settings language & keyboard and still no luck.. has anyone else encountered this problem? I also can't get The Sims app to work but my world series of poker app runs just fine I downloaded both from the same place any feedback is apprciated ... thanks in advanced

Yeah dude, just press and hold in the area where you are going to type, such as your text box or your google quick search box. You should then see a pop up that says input method. Click on that and then select Swype. It's that simple.

Yeah that's the thing I don't get the pop up asking me to select an input method. I did receive a PM with some instructions. After I complete those steps ill let u guys know how it went.

Re-flashed my Evo and my Swype works perfectly now, IDK what I did diffrent but I think maybe last time i forgot to clear the dalvik cahe, now that thats out of the way i'll begin to figure out why the SIMS 3 isn't working. Thanks for the feedback BTW
