Slingplayer for EVO 4G
 

Has anyone tried Slingplayer with a PRO HD Slingbox yet?? I want to know if this thing gets a full screen resolution. The only vid I saw on YouTube shrunk the video to a 4x3 image size in the center of the phone landscaped, and then letterboxed from there... That sounds a little counter productive and not very good use of the screen.

I guess what I am wondering is if anyone can confirm that the phone can use the full screen and full resolution with Slingplayer... Ill test it in 3 days when my Slingbox PRO HD arrives, but was hoping for a heads up.....

full screen for me SB Pro HD... good picture w/ 3g & excellent picture w/ 4g. home internet has 4mb upload

Envious of your setup. I'm still on my old SB Classic, and due to living in the country I'm limited to a 512 up connection. And I'm lucky to have that...

Anyway, still not too bad. No problems getting full screen (well, slight letterboxing on top and bottom):

for some reason, it feels like streaming was faster on my TP2 then on the EVO. im using a Slingbox Solo with a 4MB upload.

You will always get letterboxing on top and bottom since the screen isnt a standard 16:9 display i believe

Weird, I'm running the same setup (but 5mbps up) but I get letterboxing on the sides...
weird....

Bought mine at Best Buy yesterday! Got it all working and I love it. Being able to watch live Directv anywhere in the world + getting the Android app for free = awesomeness.

i just bought the sling box pro hd yesterday and i love it i wish i would have got the app free but i just paid 4 it and its full screen on my evo

One of the beautiful things about the Android Marketplace refund policy is that you can get anything for free. Not that you should do that though.
