Just mad at the bitching. This dude is over here crying and he's a grown man. Man up and do what you gotta do to get what you want but don't cry like a girl, these threads are ridiculous, especially since its not going to change anything.

Re: Sling mobile screw job.

I'm more concerned about the crappy way that the sling mobile app authenticates with their servers and that it was down for DAYS in the beginning of August, and they were charging people support fees to troubleshoot the problem as if it was a device problem, when it was theirs the whole time. That's pretty low if you ask me, I haven't heard if they got refunds or not after this went public.

I know these post are kind of dated but as I'm ready to get one of these with an Epic in the upcoming weeks, I figured I'd throw this out there to see what is said about this topic.

Suggestions/Comments??

Not to beat a dead Horse but this guy has a valid point..Over the years Sling's Customer Service has declined. I too had the impression that we would never have to purchase another key, but as many have stated it seems impossible with the constant evolution of mobile technology. Find a way to get what you want and make it happen. I did with my EVO on this very same app. What you seek can be achieved, just make it happen!

there's a slight difference between cross platform office support, and mobile media, considering phones are much more disposable than computers, and they never clarified their specific rules regarding this. the equivalent, regardless of operating system, would be having to buy a new version of office if you were to switch from hp to toshiba in my eyes anyways. i don't care what phone the program is made for. there's so many reasons why they should treat their customers better, and only one reason why they shouldn't. so its their choice.
