I have used System Seven since my WM times. Works pretty well (most of the time).
And I can also have my OWA work email (Outlook).
Believe me, I've tried the Work Email app, K-9 and others I can't remember. But I keep going back to S7.

Re: Best email app I have found so far for hotmail.

For those who used Sprint's Mobile eMail on the WM platform... Seven is the provider for PUSH. Of course don't think we'll get the PUSH for Hotmail on our Evos but it works as advertised! Faster than any mail clients I used with Hotmail and all the changes are reflected both ends.

Also you can download the latest built. Just click on "Beta Program" on the top, then select Mobile platform. Under manufacturer select "Other" then you should see "Android" listed in model. Download that and works like a charm!

Re: Best email app I have found so far for hotmail.

For me, all my email is filtered into folders and neither the native email client or K9 would download and sync those other folders. Thats a deal breaker for me so Seven saved me.

Wait, now you are talking about the other mail prog, right? Because that is not the way the HTC mail app works. Presently, it does not remove emails when I resync. I have not checked this new app though. Not sure how I feel about ad-ware in my email prog.

Re: Best email app I have found so far for hotmail.

Have been trying it and it works well for the most part and actually is pushing my mail? However, no ability to mark all as read or delete multiple e mails is a big con...I get a lot of crap e mail everyday.

So any opinions, what works better, Seven or Mail Droid?
