Is there a way to quickly delete email in the "Trash" (deleted) folder?

On the Touch Pro 2, (my previous phone), there was a setting that permanently deleted email once you chose to delete it and didn't send it to the Trash folder.

I checked 1 of my email accounts and it had over 300 emails in the Trash folder. I had to manually select them and delete them (it did let me select many at a time, I just had to select them, 300 OF THEM!)

Anyone know of an app or a quicker way to do this?

Which email program? Stock or something else. I know in K-9 email you and clear everything in the trash at once if you want. If you are using the stock app, you might give K-9 a shot. I tried it for a week along with the stock and then went straight to K-9.

Did you mean on the phone or the sever that you got the mail from? From the phone, in the stock mail app, "menu, folders, trash, menu, delete, menu, mark all, delete." From the server, "menu, ...more, settings, send and receive, delete mail on server."
