Better Keyboard Issue
 

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue.

I have the Nexus One, and I installed Better Keyboard (which I LOVE compared to stock). I usually use it in landscape.

While in landscape, if I'm typing and tap too high it'll close the keyboard. If I type in the box to open the keyboard up again, it doesn't work. The keyboard opens but anything I try to type won't show up. If I switch to portrait it'll show up and work fine.

The only way I've figured out how to get it working is to switch to the stock keyboard then switch back to Better Keyboard.

Kind of annoying, especially since I tend to do it quite a bit lol.

I have never tried to screw up, since it always comes so naturally for me, but I decided to try it and see what happens on my Hero. I am running Better Keyboard 5.6.1 and did not have the issue that you described. If I click too high on "accident" BKB doesn't close on me but rather stays open and ready for my every next command. What version are you running on your N1?

Well now I can't do it. I never tried to do it on purpose lol. I'm pretty sure I'm on 5.6.1 too.

Well I just checked and we are both behind the times. Version 6.1 is out and now supports multi-touch. Looks like it's time for us both to get an update!

At one point I couldn't get it to open, reset my phone and I was good to go. I am sure you tried that, but it worked for me :)

Ugh, now I lost my haptic feedback while typing even though its on in the settings. Still works on the stock keyboard though. I don't think this thing likes me!

lol never had a issue with better keyboard.. I do prefer to the stock.. my fav skin would be oilslick.. look it up in the market..its black with yellow highlights etc.. also love helix launcher...
