Cant find app called force ringer!
 

theres this app called FORCE RINGER and i cant find it anywhere! its suppose to help u find your phone.. when u have your phone on vibrate and cant find it you can send your phone a text using a secret word that u set up with the app and it forces yur phone to be off vibrate and then your suppose to call your phone aftr you text the word and its suppose to ring loud..

The app is actually called Force Ring and there is a review about it here. Though I cannot find it in the Market, so I have to assume that it has been pulled for some reason.

But don't be sad, because there is an alternative! The app is called Where's my Droid, which has a free version with the same functionality as Force Ring, and also has a donate version that only costs $1.00 and has more functionality. You can read about that here. Both the free and donate versions are in the Market.

There is also Mobile Defense (BETA). This will do the same thing plus remotely lock the phone, provide you with GPS info to locate the phone if stolen, sound alarm etc.

It's a terrible app rainfreak, because you look at it and when you ponder whether you want to install it, you realize that you have no choice because if the phone were ever lost or stolen you'd look back on that moment and determine that you were an idiot if you didn't install it.
