Thanks budney, definitely a worthy addition. I think I need to add a music category now.

I think my plan of giving "thanks" for anyone who makes a good recommendation is working... we may just have the best list of recommended widgets on the internet :D I know I would've liked to have this list when I first got my phone.

OneClick Widget - Toggle wifi, bluetooth, airplane mode (with wifi or not), brightness, vibrate/normal (silent option), Gps, & 2G-3G (link 2 clicks [GSM Only]). And icons are customizable, change icon size, graphic effects, colors, gradients, & transparency.

I know this thread is a little old, but Jorte is a nice calendar that has a widget that lets you pick either Agenda, Monthly, To Do, or Weekly view in sizes from 1x1 to 4x4.

Fancy Widget is a wonderful widget if you miss the HTC Clock/Weather widget from sense. Its almost the same.

Sucks that they are getting ready to remove it from the market. They have received complaints from HTC so they are being forced to take it down soon. I've already backed it up on my phone. According to their website, they will be coming out with some new widgets with their own designs.

I would like to replace the sms and e-mail widgets that came with my evo... I dont like them. I found one called chomp sms but I dont like it. Can someone please recommend some good full page 4x4 sms and e-mail widgets? paid or free? (prefer free)

Try Handcent for a new way to text
