I really haven't seen this mightyROM issue before, I would say give it a shot and see what happens, maybe you will be pleasantly suprised. I have found a lot of bugs get inadvertantly 'fixed' by a new version just doing something differently.

(if it doesn't work, at least other people with this condition will know if it works or not after your report )
