If you're familiar with skinning MS, you can tweak the icons and text spacing to your liking by editing the WpWidgets.xml file, then re-inject.

AFAIK, the icons cannot be made larger - this a a hack of the Application widget, and it displays only true icons. 32x32 for QVGA and 64x64 for VGA.

The file WeatherIcons.dll contains all of the icons. I, or someone else, would need to make another set. If I can get this thing refreshing reliably, I'll produce some more sets. Granted, as I've stated before, MS won't display partial transparency in the icons, so I've built them with backgrounds...
