the insurance isnt bull**** either...i work for a sprint affiliate...get a free employee line and i still have insurance...

if you live in an area thats not sprint corp. your local stores may not have a service and repair center (such as my store). they dont have access to spare parts and arent trained to make repairs(any repairs i do i take parts from returned phones and theres certain things i just dont know how to do to be honest)

times like that its best to be able to just get it swapped out...w/o that insurance now you are looking at paying a fee or going through the manufactuer which from personal experience from samsung is not a fun ordeal...

its just easier

having insurance doesnt help me get paid...it helps you

just dont let dumb reps tell you have to go through insurance when you dont have to...if its a manufactuers defect its covered, IN STORE, FOR FREE
What exactly do you need to do hardware-wise, if you don't mind my asking? I've got alltel but the phone isn't my original (6800)
