Agreed. And sometimes people use online translation utilities, which can make a mess of translation at times.
I know the folks over at XDA have at times brought us some of the greatest benefits we've got for our Touch Pros, but many of them don't speak English as their native language and so they provide some of the greatest assistance while their English is often less than perfect. I grew up on English and I'm not perfect with it either

Of course those mentioning the SlingPlayer are speaking in the sense of people buying the Slingbox. In cases where it can't be used, obviously it's not for such cases.
I know some of these other programs are giving me access to lots of stations the TV providers for my area don't carry.
