Unfortunately, this is the BIG PROBLEM that many of have been complaining about--while others deny it's existance.

When the phone is used longer than 30 minutes, it heats up. The charging circuitry is disabled. This is to protect the battery, because the phone thinks the battery is overheating. In reality, it's not hot enough to cause a problem. What is happening, is the radio is overheating, and heating up the whole chassis, and setting off these internal threshold alarms. Also, once the phone heats up, the battery will not only NOT charge, but it will drain quicker too.

In my testing, while on the charger, starting at 100% battery, after 45 minutes, I was at 70% battery, and by an hour-and-a-half, I was down to 40% battery... on the charger... the stock wall charger, that is.

I understand I didn't use it alot but i'm still impressed that it was on all day with a little use and still had over half the charge at 8:00 at night. Not trying to say that there is no problem with the battery life but just wanted to share my experience. I'm satisfied with what I have compared to my XV6800.
I never had a 6800, but I heard many complaints...

For comparison, I took my Vogue off when I went to work... received about 25 push emails, and about 40 texts. I made 3 different phone calls, for about 5 minutes each, and I browsed the web for about 5 minutes. I still had about 80% when I got home.

I think on CDMA WM devices, they pull so much mA, even in stand-by, that it almost doesn't matter how much you use it--it will be dead in 2 days, almost no matter what.
