Got mine in the mail 11/17/2008, build date is 11/7/2008. I'm new to the PPC game (upgraded from a Instinct, thank ****!!!) but the g/f's had a Sprint Diamond for a few months now. I didn't personally use it too often so I don't have a good point of direct reference for comparison like Scrapmaker does. I'll mention this, though, the battery cover on the g/fs could go on in such a way where it'd bulge at one of the tabs on the side, to the point where it bugged her but it just possible she seated the cover incorrectly.

Would a metal battery cover be a possibility for the phone, or would it end up being just too hot to handle?
