Re: Is the stock charger adequate?

Ok. I just got off the phone with HTC technical support and they told me this is a safety feature. Upon closer inspection of the manual I found the csr was right. On p.32 of the HTC Touch Pro manual it states, "as a safety precaution, the battery stops charging when it overheats." The caveat is you can't take out the battery and charge directly as this could damage your device. So, when it comes down to it, these devices aren't really capable of making prolonged voice calling without having to end it and change battery. Are all smartphones like this?
