I had several instances where I noticed my Titan was not charging even though it was plugged in. You would know there was a problem by the blinking oragnge led singnaling there was a problem. Even in my car I would notice it from time to time. After unplugging the phone and holding it in front of the ac vent for a minute it would resume charging. I know this doesn't help to solve your problem , but I hope it shows that it isn't an isolated event.

I had the same issues with my Mogul too, yet to an extemely lesser extent. The only way I could overheat the Mogul enough to stop charging was with wifi on streaming data to my pc with wmwifirouter. Occasionally when the Mogul got too hot the BT light would come on with an almost intense white glow... TP seems to die on the charger with just the cell radio going, which is awful on a long call.

Hmmm... maybe if I modify a Core2Duo CPU heatsink I could...
