Re: Verizon Phone recommendations

Something else to consider would be if she wants a phone running WM, as there are a few touch screens out there that are not WM based. If she wants WM, then the choices are the Treo 700WX (open faced hardware QWERTY kb), the VX6800 (slide out hardware QWERTY kb), or the VX6900 ( onscreen kb). All three are touchscreen. Non WM touch screen phones include the Palm Centro, the Dare, Voyager, Glyde, and Venus. The advantages to WM devices are the ability to run multiple apps simultaneously, the availability of 3rd party apps, and the ability to create your own ROMs. I guess the question is what she intends to do w/ the phone (other than talk/text, I mean). If she's a power user, then definitely go WinMo. If she's just looking for communication need, then a non WinMo would work.
