I have heard good things about phone weaver from sbsh though, although I havent tried it yet.
I am using PhoneWeaver currently and I love it. The thing it lacks is the notifications for missed calls, emails, etc. I personally don't need the constant notifications reminders, which is why I switched from Phone Suite to PhoneWeaver. I am mostly concerned with the profile switching, and PhoneWeaver is great for it.
the phone suite seems to do the "basics" but your right, its not skinnable and the profiles are a pain in the @ss to setup.

Im going to attempt a 2-way approach for r1.4u and put in phonealarm, disable the profiles, remove the profile icons again, and setup phoneweaver for those that are interested in profiling for the handset.

This way you can just leave phonealarm on the HOME (ill make a mario icon for it or something, and use phoneWeaver to change profiles.

Deal?

guess 1.4 will be out sooner than expected >< Ill get working on it after my finals on thursday, I dont have much studying to do this weekend.

EDIT: soggy, just disable the profiles in PA and soft reset, if you need phoneweaver in the interim PM me and ill send you my copy so you can still use profiles
