Sorry I forgot to mention one of the most important steps. If you DO NOT have a Static IP, meaning if your IP Address is 192.168.X.X then you will have to connect your Diamond to the SAME WiFi router of the computer you are trying to remotely control. In other words if you're at home, you will need to connect to your home's WiFi to control your home computer. You CAN NOT use EVDO UNLESS YOU HAVE A STATIC IP (Which is your own IP address that your ISP provides, usually at an extra cost).

If anyone wants to disagree, please do...I can't get it to work either!

No remote desktop options given. I suppose the only other option is to use a 3rd party app?

Windows Vista Basic & Home Premium does NOT have the Remote Desktop feature. It allows you to control other computers but not its own. You will need to upgrade to Vista Business or Ultimate.
