I got a call from HTC about it today. I had sent them an email from their support link on the htc web site. They didn't have much to tell me but they did gather my phone info. I'm hoping they either have a firmware update or a replacement phone coming my way soon.
I just had yet another embarrassing call with a client who asked me to call them back from a land line even though I'm sitting a few feet from an airave. Of course when HTC called my phone worked without any problems
