Re: Lovin' this new battery

Hi I just ordered the $9.99 extendid battery!! heeeeeee
A Sprint rep told me about it, and I remember it posted here.

I called Verizon customer service (888 294-6804), and told them I dont have a cell number.
The sales rep helped me anyway, it was no problem.
Also offered me all the accesories they had (stylus, mem, cases, holsters)
She gave me her name and extension,
and says to call her if I ever need anything more from them.
so it is still available and she seemed eager to sell me stuff,
So you should not have a problem calling verizon, but if you are having problem ordering it,
PM me and I will give you her extension, as I don't want it to get spammed.

EDIT:
I also posted elsewhere about extendid batteries.
I purchased Samsung 1650ma battery from overseas, for my Brother's EPic
because from my experience and research,
no matter what name brand a battery is,
NOTHING BEATS A STOCK COMPANY NAME BRAND BATTERY!!
So HTC, Samsung, etc. batteries will outperform ANY third party name brands of similar Ma rating.

The other alternative is the super cheapo China batteries.
Ebay had plenty of compatible EVO batteries.
So you may have to get extendid case separately.
Also, if you get the wrong extendid case (GSM) you can just snip the bottom opening wider, for CDMA units.
The battery price is good but the problem is that their charging circuitry is erractic at first,
because they actually stack 2 cheapo batteries in parallel inside one housing..
