I understand exactly what you mean, You want to take your ESN off the 920 and clone it to use on the 6700. But what you may need to understand is it is a deeper issue than just the ESN. On the carriers side, what about S/N, hardware type, what about when you call in for tech support and they pull your ESN and it (in their database) says it should be a 920 and yet you tell them you have a 6700? Do you see the other issues that arrise from trying to do that. Whereas if you go from one exact model to another exact model you get around a lot of those issues.

THX for the moral support but so is most file sharing and logging into unsecured WiFi. I may be like a few others that believe that illegal tactics are illegal if you use them for illegal purposes and not for personal purposes. I do feel that there is nothing wrong with educating yourself. Now if he clones and sell on ebay, that is another issue.
